I've been back in Grilly for a month now, and I never did finish trimming the lilacs or going through all the accu- mulated stuff I brought back after six years in Manchester. Still, tomorrow I'm back off to the sunny North. Just in time for the Germany-England World Cup face-off - should be entertaining!I had a great time over the past six months. I feel really lucky - and not just because I made it back alive, which I admit I was expecting (and would have been pretty disappointed if I didn't achieve). Thanks, all of you who helped me out, put me up, hung out with me, kept me posted with what was going on with you, and just followed the blog. I hope we can do it again sometime.
